NTT Com Launches the predecessor of today’s Global IP network services with 45 megabits per second (Mbps) services in 1997. U.S.-Japan bandwidth dramatically increased to 1 Gbps when the company acquired Verio and Tier-1 IP backbone in 2000. NTT Com became the first network provider to measure network latency variability with a type of jitter service level agreement (SLA) in 2005. The reliability of NTT Com Global IP network is ably demonstrated in December 2006, when network traffic is moved with a slight delay, after a devastating earthquake Taiwanof. In 2008, the company introduced a system of traffic analysis that monitors network traffic to detect and report traffic anomalies to the operator’S IP network.
